Associates in Emergency Care, LLC (AEC) was established in February of 1998 as a business for conducting and carrying out consultation, education, and training for personnel in industry, free standing ambulatory centers, government organizations, hospitals, community organizations, and the prehospital setting.

     AEC is affiliated with a free standing Community Training Center and proudly offers the following American Heart Association programs:  First-Aid, CPR (all levels), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), & PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).  Upon request, AEC can also offer ITLS (International Trauma Life Support), PEPP (Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals), and GEMS (Geriatric Education for Emergency Medical Services).

     AEC currently has Paramedic Program Accreditation through the Commonwealth of Virginia, Office of EMS and National Accreditation through CoAEMSP (Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions).
