AEC offers the following BLS and ALS classes:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA-ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support  (AHA-PALS)
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers (AHA-HCP)
  • Heartsaver (AHA-CPR, AED, First Aid) - by request only
  • International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) - by request only
  • Pediatric Education for Prehosital Professionals (PEPP) - by request only
  • Geriatric Education for Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) - by request only

If you would like to schedule a CPR, ACLS, or PALS class at your location, email Gretchen Wills. ***Effective July 1, 2008, a traveling fee of $200 (to be charged to the facilitator) will be applied to all non-contract courses .  This fee will not affect individuals enrolling in any of the above courses.***

What if I need to replace a lost card?

Will I get my card on the same day of the test?
Upon successful completion, your card will be mailed to the address you indicate on the class sign-in roster within about 3 weeks.

I need verfication that I attended and passed the course in order to return to work. How do I get this ASAP?
To get a faxed, emailed, or mailed verfication of your successful completion prior to receiving your card, email aecare911@aol.com with the following information: Name, course attended, dates attended, & how you would like to receive your letter.

Will I get CEUs for the class?
At this time, we only offer CEUs to Virginia EMS providers. Physicians and Nurses, contact your employer's training supervisor for more information.

How do I get directions to the class?
